big "G"

This cake had a unfortunate turn of events...


The cake never got ate. Which I am sad about, mainly because that was the coolest part of the cake. I used a special technique to make the cake look like camouflage.

Things I learned from this cake:
1.  Even though the top layer of the cake fell apart it made a great shelf for the G.
2. Once you make camouflage colored fondant, you shouldn't pull it up and re-knead it.. it loses its effect.
3. I will never do two cakes at one time again. see "Two words: Topsy Turvy".
